Subsequently, various merchants have launched different offers, such as “Ride Hailing Red Packets” and travel packages to Hong Kong, further increasing discussions about traveling to Hong Kong. There have even been trending topics on Weibo encouraging mainland tourists to visit Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

According to the recently released “2024 Policy Address,” the Hong Kong Government has proposed to the central government to resume the “multiple-entry” Individual Visit Endorsements for Shenzhen and to expand the pilot cities for the “one trip per week” Individual Visit Endorsements. Starting from today, the Government has also relaxed the criteria for nationals of Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar applying for multiple-entry visas for travel and business, extending the visa\u2019s validity from two years to three years. With sufficient promotion and traveler incentive policies, the Hong Kong tourism industry is expected to gradually recover to pre-pandemic levels, once again shining brightly.<\/p>\n
